Here's what makes me tick...
I was born in England and grew up just outside Chester. After graduating I lived almost 30 years in Italy and now I have dual citizenship. I live between the two countries but I prefer the warmth to cold and freezing 😉 I am an entrepreneur and I am passionate about using the Internet to grow my companies and as a training tool.
I am absolutely thrilled by the almost limitless possibilities of the Internet. I still can’t believe that when I make a change to one of my web-pages and press “Update” then that change could be seen immediately by over 4 billion people or 57% of the World’s population! – OK, I know, most of them won’t be looking at my websites ….. but some of them will. … YOU are 🙂
My journey in business...
I have been involved with Business and Management Education since I graduated. I started out as a Management Consultant working in 7 countries across 3 continents. I did my MBA with the Open University Business School. In 1992 I opened my own consulting business in Italy. I tutored on the MBA and became the Marketing Representative for Italy which helped me to see the potential of the Internet as both a business and an educational tool very early on. I ended up managing a good part of the Business School’s Google Advertising in Europe.
In 2005 I decided to take a sabbatical from consulting to spend some time with my children. While at home I created Study English in England using the Internet to sell language holidays in the UK and Ireland to Italians. Within 2 years we had more than 1 million Euros in sales. I then used these Internet skills to open and grow 2 companies in the construction sector.
I now spend part of my time sharing my Internet and Digital skills with people like you.
